RECIPE: Chocolate Paleo Banana Brownies

It's time for another recipe! A recipe I, Kajsa, did the other day with my overripe bananas and which turned out so yummy so I thought that I could share it here on NIKA! :) Since I have a lot of problems with acne is sugar and gluten something that triggers my acne which I try to eliminate as much as I can, because of that is this recipe perfect since it's gluten-free and has no cane sugar included!


2 overripe bananas

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract 1.5 dl almond flour/almond meal 0.5 dl coconut flour

1 dl cacao powder

1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt For topping: Coconut Almonds Coconut oil + cocoa powder

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 175 C and prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2: Mix bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract and blend. Step 3:

Mix together the dry ingredients, almond flour, coconut flour, cacao powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Step 4:

Mix everything together and spread the batter evenly onto the pan, bake for 18 - 25 minutes.

Step 5:

While the brownies are in the oven, heat up coconut oil and cocoa powder and stir until it becomes a chocolate sauce, drizzle over the brownies and top with coconut flakes and almonds when done. Enjoy!
